CoE stands for Confirmation of Enrolment, and it’s something you will hear a lot about because it is one of the most important documents you will need to apply for your student visa. In short, it’s a letter confirming that you have accepted an education provider’s offer and have paid the enrolment fee.

A LoO is short for Letter of Offer. When an education provider accepts your application, they will send you the LoO containing all the information about what they are offering. Once you review and sign it, they issue your CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment).

Student Visa

There are a few factors which affect the number of documents you will be asked to provide to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) such as the level of your country, the type of education provider you are applying to and other historical factors. However, you will definitely need to have a CoE along with your passport and other similar documents. To find out more about what you need, check out the website of Home Affairs.
